Alila Ubud is beautifully perched on a hillside above the Ayung River. From the striking infinity pool, guests enjoy sweeping views across the surrounding jungle valley. The 68 rooms and villas present a modern interpretation of traditional Balinese architecture. Two restaurants serve Asian and Western cuisine in an atmospheric Balinese setting. In addition to the spa and fitness centre, Alila Ubud also offers a range of activities such as yoga and cooking classes.

Wine & Dine

Alila Ubud offers two restaurants, each with its own distinctive ambience: Plantation Restaurant, serving Balinese and Western cuisine, and Cabana Lounge for lighter fare.

Plantation Restaurant

At Plantation, guests can savour authentic Balinese dishes alongside Western tasting menus. The atmosphere is distinctly exotic, accentuated by soaring coconut‑wood pillars and a traditional alang‑alang roof – a thatched covering crafted from alang‑alang grass.

Plantation Restaurant

The restaurant sources many of its ingredients from its own organic garden. Guests may also visit this beautiful garden to experience how the resort strives to maintain a minimal ecological footprint. The garden further supports local farmers by assisting them in implementing sustainable agricultural practices.

The bar at Plantation Restaurant offers an extensive selection of wines and cocktails, providing a delightful setting to enjoy before or after dinner.

Cabana Lounge

By day, Cabana Lounge is a relaxed haven, while in the evening it transforms into an atmospheric restaurant‑lounge, with a menu largely featuring Western cuisine. The design is distinguished by striking Karangasem terracotta brick walls adorned with Indonesian‑inspired patterns.

Outside the Cabana Lounge, regular activities are organised, including cinema nights under the stars. There are also frequent performances by a live DJ.

Rooms and Villas

Alila Ubud features a variety of room types as well as villas, some of which include a private pool. Interiors combine authentic Balinese furnishings with contemporary comforts.
